The Korean Football Association (KFA) said on Saturday that the South Korean women’s football coach Colin Bell has been hospitalized after testing positive for COVID-19.
Last week, after the team returned from the United States, the England coach tested positive for the novel coronavirus and played two games there last month, News Agency Yonhap News Agency Report.
Yonhap News Agency said Bell was initially isolated at home before being sent to a hospital in Namyangju City.
KFA confirmed the report, but said it would not issue a statement.
South Korea, which will host New Zealand in two friendly matches later this month, is preparing for the 2022 AFC Women’s Asian Cup to be held in India from January 20 to February 6. It is in Group C with defending champion Japan.
