An angry Rollins yelled at his attacker, and the security personnel broke the situation.
WWE issued a statement on the situation, stating that it intends to see the attackers actively prosecuted for the attack.
“WWE takes the safety of performers very seriously,” WWE wrote in a statement. “The person who attacked Seth Rollins has been handed over to the New York Police Department and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible by law.”
New York Police Department confirmed Speaking to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, it is detaining the 24-year-old fan.
