Apart from his exploits in the bat, he was solid behind the stumps and played a key role in Pakistan’s 2021 T20 World Cup semi-finals. Ridzwan ended up being the third-highest scorer in the game.
At the beginning of the year, Rizwan also scored his first T20I century of his career against South Africa in Lahore. In his last T20 of 2021, he scored 87 against West Indies in Karachi.
Beaumont was also her team’s top scorer in this year’s T20Is.
Beaumont was the top scorer in a low-scoring away game against New Zealand and was awarded the Series Player of the Year for scoring 102 goals in three games. She scored an excellent 50 against India, although it was in vain after a low-level collapse.
Beaumont continued to play against New Zealand, this time with the Kiwi visiting England for a limited tour. She was again the top runner in the series with 113 runs. She hit 97 points in the series opener at home against New Zealand, pushing England’s T20I total to the highest in 2021.
