KL Rahul excludes New Zealand testing; Suryakumar Yadav is

Starting Thursday, India’s opener KL Rahul was excluded from the two test series against New Zealand.

The Indian Cricket Control Board confirmed that the batsman suffered a strained left thigh muscle and will undergo rehabilitation at the Bangalore National Cricket Academy. He is expected to recover before his South Africa trip in mid-December.

The first test of Proteas will begin in Johannesburg on December 17.

The All India Senior Selection Committee has appointed Suryakumar Yadav as a replacement for Rahul to replace the test for New Zealanders.
