Social media superstar Jack Paul will be closer to being considered a legitimate boxer in August of this year.Paul will face former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley Cleveland’s Showtime pay-per-view headlines Sunday, August 29th. Woodley and Paul will face each other at a press conference at 4 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday.
Paul defeated another former UFC boxer in the knockout round and stopped Ben Askeron in less than one round in April. That victory brought Paul’s professional record to 3-0, and all three victories were knockouts.Paul also won stoppage victories from YouTube star AnEsonGib and his predecessor NBA Star Nate Robinson. The victory over Woodley will be the most meaningful victory in Paul’s career, because he is Paul’s most accomplished forward ever.
Woodley’s UFC career came to an end after four losses. Before that bad game, Woodley established himself as one of the greatest welterweight players in UFC history and won the title for nearly three years. Woodley’s MMA record is 19-7-1, with seven knockout wins.
