Jack Paul returned to the boxing ring on Saturday night, despite facing an unexpected but familiar enemy. Paul played against former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley in the rematch in the August showdown. Paul is expected to face Tommy Fury, the brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, but just two weeks ago, he was forced to quit due to health problems.
Now, Paul has another chance against Woodley. He defeated Woodley with a split decision four months ago, but failed to knock down or knock out. When Woodley forced Paul to trip over the rope, he actually hit the most striking punch in that battle. Paul has said that as the game is held within a short period of time, he has added a clause that if Woodley is eliminated, he will receive an additional $500,000.
