IPL Auction: Ben Stokes, the England all-rounder sold to the Rajasthan Royals for Rs. 12.5 Crores. IPL 2018 Auction was started earlier today at Bangalore. The auction started around 10 AM and Ben Stokes was sold to the Rajasthan Royals after a competitive bidding between Rajasthan and Punjab.
Chris Gayle remains unsold in the first round of the auction. Du Plessis was sold for Rs. 1.6 crores to the Chennai Super Kings. In the first session of the auction, most of the players were bought by Kings XI Punjab. Pollard was sold to Rs. 5.6 Cr to the Mumbai Indians. Dhawan was the first player to get sold in this auction. He was bought by Punjab for Rs. 5.2 crores.
