Former international referee Sunit Kumar Ghosh dies


According to sources from the Bangladesh Cricket Association (CAB), former international referee Sunit Kumar Ghosh died in a hospital here on Sunday. He was 87 years old, and his two sons survived.

Ghosh hosted two test matches, seven one-day international (ODI) and one women’s ODI. He served as a referee in 12 first-class games and as a referee in 4 games.

At the end of 1988, he served as a referee in the test match against New Zealand in Bangalore and Hyderabad, India. He worked at ODI from 1987 to 1989.
