The Pakistan Cricket Committee (PCB) has appointed Faisal Hasnain, the former Chief Financial Officer of the International Cricket Council (ICC), as the new chief executive officer, replacing Wasim Khan.
Hasnain will take office in January.
As the Chief Financial Officer of ICC, Faisal participated in the sale of commercial rights for the management agency for the 2007-2015 and 2016-2023 cycles. Faisal also played for the Zimbabwe cricket team.

“Faisal is a well-known figure in the world of cricket and is highly respected, respected and trusted for his outstanding performance in corporate governance, financial management and business acumen,” PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja said in a statement.
“According to my plan for PCB, Faisal will be a perfect candidate because he can use his rich experience and knowledge to help us achieve our business and financial goals and make Pakistani cricket bigger and stronger. ”

Hasnein stated that he will seek to enhance the image and reputation of Pakistan’s cricket.
