According to local media reports, two months after being detained by police on domestic violence charges, former Australian batsman Michael Slater was charged with violating a restraining order on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the New South Wales Police stated that a man was arrested at around 7.45 am local time on suspicion of violating a restraining order.
The 51-year-old man was taken to the Manly Police Station and was refused bail after being charged.
