The chairman of the Premier League champion said he would send a strong message to his opponents at the transfer window
Manchester City President Haldun Mubarak warned their opponents that after missing the UEFA Champions League a few days, they will become stronger in the pursuit of the UEFA Champions League.
Guardiola’s team ended the season as a Premier League champion and League Cup champion, and entered the Champions League final for the first time in club history.
However, this season’s disappointment in a 1-0 loss to Chelsea ended, and Al Mubarak said it was a moment to show that they can rise to a new level.

Despite having achieved success without a forward for most of the season, Al Mubarak said that this is one of the positions they will strengthen in the summer.
The chairman did not name any, but Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur is the forward that the club is known to be interested in.
Al Mubarak also confirmed that there will be other new faces, focusing on quality rather than quantity.
“We lost a very important legend in Sergio Aguero, [they are] Shoes that are difficult to fill, but I believe we will find the right players to fill these shoes,” he said. “There are other areas in the team that obviously require investment, but not too much. This is not about numbers, but about quality.
“This team is an extraordinary team. If you don’t have an incredible team, you can’t win the Premier League and you can’t enter the Champions League final. And we have such a team. We will have a few key points. Position brings quality to the team.”
