The tactician insists that he will work harder to win the trophy to silence critics
Al Ahly coach Pitso Mosimane, after leading his team to defeat RS Berkane in the Caf Super Cup, is pleased with the appreciation he has received outside of South Africa.
56-year-old man was abused Supporters of Mamelodi Sundowns allegedly eliminated them from the Caf Champions League with a total score of 3-1. The tactician admitted that it was an emotional week for him, and he continued to blame the system for what happened.
“I believe that if you focus on winning the game, the result will be resolved naturally, but I do feel very happy to be able to contribute to Africa. I feel very happy to be appreciated. This is different from what happened in my own country.” Mosimane said after his recent victory.

“To be honest, last week was too emotional for me. But I don’t blame anyone. I must blame the system we came from.
“Some people say that if you want a black man to fail, you must use a black man to destroy him.”
The former Masandawana coach further stated that the best way to respond to critics is to make sure he performs well on the court and raises the trophy.
“For me, it’s not talking, but…this is how you respond in football-you respond by raising the trophy, not talking about what happened last week,” Mosiman continued.
“Let the work speak for itself. I’m too mature, I move on. The only way is to congratulate everyone related to Al Ahly, to the team and everyone related to me.”
On Friday, two second-half goals by Mohamed Sharif and Salah Mosen inspired a well-deserved victory for the Egyptian champions against their Moroccan opponents.
This is the third important trophy that Mosiman has won at the club, leading the team to last season’s Egyptian Cup and Café Champions League.
After defeating South African giants Mamelodi with a total score of 3-1 last weekend, Al Ahli was confident that they won a seat in the semi-finals of the Coffee Champions League this season.
Al Ahli has now completed the 2021 continental double crown, winning the UEFA Champions League and Super Cup.
They plan to face the Tunisian giant Esperance de Tunis in the two-leg semifinals next month, but before that, the Red Devils will face ENPPI SC in the round of 16 of the Egyptian Cup on June 4.
