The Red Devils can defeat Villarreal to end their trophy drought, and the coach believes this can bring more success.
Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and attacker Mason Greenwood hope that victory in the Europa League final will push the team to the championship trophy.
The Red Devils will face Villarreal in Gdansk on Wednesday for the championship.
Since the success of the Europa League in 2017, Manchester United have not won the Champions League, but Solskjaer hopes that they can fight for silverware more consistently at an early date.

Solskjaer told reporters at a press conference: “This is the team we have rebuilt in the past few years. Hope this is the beginning of more things.”

The 19-year-old Greenwood hopes to restore Manchester United’s reputation for challenging major honours and sees their midweek game as a possible stepping stone to achieve this goal.
Greenwood said: “Bringing back trophies is what the club needs. Bring back some silverware.”
“We haven’t had it for a few years. It would be a good feeling to be part of a team that actually won silverware.
“When you come to school, when they win the Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, there are pictures and photos on the walls, that’s all the content of the football club…
“If you want to be the best football club in the world or the country, you have to bring home silverware, which is what Manchester United has done for many years.
“But we may have declined in recent years, but hopefully we can win after this. If we beat Villarreal, it may be like a stepping stone, allowing us to start to achieve our goals.”
