Iheanacho: Participating in the FA Cup final is a dream come true

Leicester City striker Ileanacho revealed how his dream in the FA Cup final quickly became a reality.

The 24-year-old fox is expected to play with Chelsea in the final of the game on Saturday.

Iheanacho played a key role in helping Brendan Rodgers’ men reach the final, scoring four goals, including a strike that he won in the FA Cup semi-final against Southampton.

The Nigeria international revealed how he watched the game when he was a child and is now looking forward to winning the trophy.

“I watched the FA Cup when I was very young, and now I have a chance to participate in the final. It’s really great, it’s a dream come true,” Iheanacho said. Leicester Mercury.

“I didn’t expect the goal to be achieved as it is now, but we are now entering the finals. We are really happy, but we need to look back, work hard, and hope to win the finals.

“We did it together, we did it as a team. Without a team, we can’t do it. This is not a solo performance.”

Iheanacho has established a fruitful partnership with Jamie Vardy this season, which helped him score 18 goals in all competitions.

The attackers of the Super Eagles hope they can continue to deepen their understanding in the Wembley FA Cup final.

“The cooperation between Jamie and I is excellent. His ball handling ability is really very good, he brought the defender back and reduced the offense,” he continued.

“He has a rhythm, he has everything, he is an excellent player, I hope we can work together to win the final.”

Iheanacho has been playing for Foxs since the summer of 2017, when he teamed up with Manchester City.

He has tried to make a big impact on the Fox team before, but this season he started to gain a foothold in the Kings Power Stadium.

Ianacho’s state also contributed to Leicester’s current third place on the Premier League table, second only to Manchester City and Manchester United.

The center will hope to increase his support for the Foxes before the end of the 2020-21 season.
