The 47-year-old is satisfied with the fascinating performance of the Super Eagles offense and expressed satisfaction with the Foxes’ qualifications to the finals, which can allow Ianacho and Endidi to play a role.
“I’m very happy that Nigerians are satisfied with Iheanacho’s performance and very happy to see their two players enter the FA Cup final- [Iheanacho and Ndidi]”, the former Nigerian goalkeeper told the goal.
“Iheanacho has been great this season. As a forward for Leicester City, he has been doing what he should do. He has been scoring goals.
“He is very happy now, he is improving every day. His performance has left a deep impression on me. I just hope his coach will continue to beat him once a week. He has done a good job for himself.”
Since working with Genk in 2017, Endidi has been performing well in Leicester City.
The Nigerian legend is pleased with the growth of the midfielder and supports his transfer to a bigger club when opportunities arise.
“We are all praying for growth. We all want to play for a bigger club in the world. He has done a good job for Leicester City,” he continued.
“If Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City and other big clubs come, I think he can leave Leicester.
“All he has to do is to continue to be in good shape so that other big clubs can serve him.”
Iheanacho has played in 31 matches for the Nigerian national team, while Ndidi has played 38 times for the three-time African champion.
The players recently helped the Super Eagles qualify for Cameroon’s 2022 Africa Cup of Nations.
