The Morocco international has a close connection with the Parisians after an impressive debut season with the Black and Blues

Ashraf Hakimi’s agent, Alejandro Camano, refuted rumors that he was negotiating with Paris Saint-Germain regarding his client’s accession to France.

The full-back showed an eye-catching performance in his first season for the Black and Blue, helping the club win the Serie A championship.

The Morocco international made 45 appearances in all competitions, scoring 7 goals and providing 11 assists.

The defender has close ties with San Siro and Paris Saint-Germain, and the departure of the head coach Antonio Conte from the club further contributed to this defender’s withdrawal.

However, Camano refuted the rumors, insisting that the 22-year-old player had four years left on his contract and that he did not have any discussions with the Parisian regarding the possible transfer of his client to France.

“In his position, he is the best player in Europe. That’s why there are so many rumors about him,” Camano told The transfer market.

“Hakimi has four years left on the contract with Inter Milan. I want to clarify that I haven’t talked to any other clubs.

“We are calm. Hakimi has joined his national team and signed a long-term contract with Inter Milan. I want to thank all the Inter fans who sent him a message recently.”

Last summer, after signing a two-year loan contract with Dortmund, Hakimi cooperated with the black and blue teams from Real Madrid.

He helped the German team win the DFL Super Cup and was selected as the best team in the Bundesliga for the 2019-20 season due to his outstanding performance.

The defender has played for Real Madrid since 2006 and made 9 appearances for Real Madrid before permanently leaving Real Madrid.

Hakimi is also an important member of the Moroccan national team, making 34 appearances for this African country.

Inter Milan hopes to retain the versatile full-back after the summer, as they will seek another league title battle next season.
