“In view of this fact, this athlete will be quarantined in the next few days and will be tested daily until we are sure that he is not infected.
“Players will be fined, and administrative penalties will be converted into basic baskets and donated to G10 slums.”.
Arboleda posted an apology in his Instagram story. He said: “I want to apologize to everyone for what happened this morning. I impulsively made a decision that I knew was not the best.
“Of course, I am aware of the severity of the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil and my home country, Ecuador, and I reiterate that I made a wrong and impulsive decision, even though I took all necessary precautions and kept wearing a mask. .”
