Due to coronavirus-related concerns, the one-day international stage of the White Ball Cricket Series between the United States and Ireland was cancelled.
Two of the Irish team’s logistics staff and partners of several players tested positive, resulting in the two Irish players being regarded as close contacts. Overnight, all players returned negative test results in the latest inspection.

The first game of the three-game series has been cancelled, and the second ODI has been postponed by one day due to the detection of COVID-19 cases among the referee team and the U.S. team members. The second and third games were originally scheduled to be held on Wednesday and Thursday.
In a joint statement, American Cricket and Irish Cricket said: “The risks and concerns of further spread mean that the two boards regrettably agree to cancel the remaining two scheduled games.” The two teams scored 1-1. Split the Twenty20 series.
The Irish team is scheduled to leave Florida on Friday for Kingston, Jamaica, to participate in the series against the West Indies.
