After an indifferent game, Glenn Maxwell is finally at his best at the Melbourne Stars. Big Bash League (BBL) 2021-22. The explosive Australian batsman scored one of the fastest centuries in T20 history, hitting a jaw-dropping 154 overs in just 64 overs.

When the Stars desperately needed Maxwell, he put up a stellar performance this season. With a playoff berth, the aggressive right-hander took the Hobart Hurricanes offense to the Cleaners.

Before his innings, the 33-year-old star team captain had just 314 runs in the first 12 innings of the BBL 2021-22. But in one spectacular hit, he took his championship total to 468 with averages of 42.54 and 159.72.

The pinnacle of Glenn Maxwell

In his memorable knock, Glenn Maxwell hit as many as 22 fours and four sixes. The batsman went on a boundary hunt and hit the ball to all parts of the iconic MCG.

Of his four maximums, two really stand out. For the first, Maxwell crossed the long range, and for the second he screamed over the deep boundary in the middle.
