Team India begin their practice for the ultimate glory

Virat Kohlithe former captain and star batsman for India, participated in the national team’s practice on Monday at the magnificent Arundel Castle Cricket Club. Having Kohli back in the lineup has raised expectations for the World Test Championship (WTC) final against Australia, which will take place at the Oval from June 7 to June 11.

Left-arm seamer Jaydev Unadkat, who appeared to have fully recovered from a left shoulder injury that had kept him out of action, joined Kohli in the training session. For both team management and supporters, the pair’s active engagement in the practice session w as a pleasing sight.

As they started preparing for the eagerly awaited WTC Final in England, the squad players, including Kohli, were photographed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Umesh Yadav and Mohammed Sirajtwo pacers, could be spotted wearing their brand-new practice uniforms and jogging lightly next to Kohli. At the nets, off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin demonstrated his talent by rolling his arm over.

In the middle of a talk with bowling coach Paras Mhambrey and head coach Rahul Dravid During a training session, Jaydev Unadkat revealed the team’s strategic planning and focused approach to the important match.

The squad’s preparations were strengthened when Cheteshwar Pujarawho has been refining his abilities by playing for Sussex in the English county circuit, also showed up at the practice facility.

Umesh Yadav and Shardul Thakur Were among the first players to arrive as the Indian team’s contingent for the WTC Final began to take shape. Mumbai’s young starting pitcher Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Rohit Sharma have also arrived at the location.

When will the whole squad arrive?

Following the end of the IPL final in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, the final batch—which includes Ravindra Jadeja, Shubman Gill, Mohammad Shami, KS Bharat, and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane—is slated to leave.

It’s important to note that Yashasvi Jaiswal was a standby player for the team after Ruturaj Gaikwad informed the BCCI of his June 3–4 wedding. This shows how well-rounded and ready the team is for any unexpected circumstances.
