Star Player leaves the KKR camp due to a family emergency

Litton Das, a batter with the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), has taken a flight back to Bangladesh due to an urgent family medical issue. It’s unlikely that the wicketkeeper-batter will play any further in the Indian Premier League (IPL) season. That’s because he was only given a No-Objection Certificate (NOC) by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) until May 4.

For those who don’t know, KKR paid Rs 50 lakh to purchase the 28-year-old. He was only able to represent the team once, against Delhi Capitals (DC), when he scored four runs off just as many balls. He had previously missed a number of KKR games because of the Ireland tour of Bangladesh. For the upcoming three-match ODI series against Ireland, he is most likely to tour the country.

KKR Statement

Kolkata Knight Riders told about Litton’s unavailability through a statement:

“Litton Das has had to return to Bangladesh earlier today (Friday 28 April) due to an urgent family medical emergency. Our wishes go out to him and his family to make it through this difficult time.”

It’s important to note that Shakib Al Hasan’s services were previously lost by KKR. By mutual agreement, the Bangladesh all-rounder left the lucrative league after missing a lot of games owing to international obligations. Jason Roy from England was acquired by Kolkata as his replacement.

With the Three Victories in Seven Contests, KKR Are Presently Ranked Sixth. To Guarantee a Place in the Playoffs, They Must Win the Majority of their Seven Games During TRing TRing TRing TRing T He Group Stage. The Two-Time Champions and GT Will Square Off On April 29 At Kolkata’s Eden Gardens.
