SRH Owner Kaviya Maran loses cool at the cameraman

On Sunday, Sunrisers Hyderabad finally managed to climb out of the bottom of the IPL 2023 Points Table with a well-deserved eight-wicket victory over Punjab Kings in Hyderabad. However, the owner of SRH, Kaviya Maran, expressed her distress with the constant Glare of the camera while she was watching the match from the stands.

Kaviya Maran Abuses Cameraman

Rahul Tripathi played a crucial knock of an unbeaten half-century, while spinner Mayank Markande claimed a four-wicket haul on his debut to lead Sunrisers Hyderabad to their first victory of the 16th edition of the cash-rich league. The fans were ecstatic with the win , especially after SRH’s disappointing losses in the first two games. The presence of Kavya Maran, daughter of Kalanithi Maran and owner of SRH, added to the excitement in the stands during the match.

Despite SRH’s strong bowling performance that had PBKS on the mat, rival skipper Shikhar Dhawan frustrated them with an unbeaten 99-run knock, which helped his team post a respectable total. As the match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings was getting man tight, the camera turned his focus towards the stands where Kaviya Maran, the owner of SRH and daughter of Sun Group owner Kalanithi Maran, was seated. However, Kaviya seemed to have grown frustrated with the constant glare of the camera on her and was seen gesturing to the cameraman , telling him to move away by saying ‘Hatt Rey’.

Kaviya Maran has been one of the IPL’s original ‘mystery girls’ and has been cheering the SRH team from the stands for several years now. She has become a regular fixture in SRH matches and is a well-known face on the SRH table during the IPL auctions.

SRH win eventually

Rahul Tripathi’s brilliant knock of 74 runs, along with skipper Aiden Markram’s contribution of 37 runs, ensured that Sunrisers Hyderabad had no trouble in chasing down the modest target of 144 runs, with almost three overs to spare. This win helped SRH climb up the points table and left Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals as the only two sides without a win in the IPL 2023 so far. .
