Sai Sudharsan Makes Exciting International Debut Against SA

On December 17, India and South Africa are ready to face each other in Johannesburg for the first ODI. This is going to be the pink ODI of South Africa. In the first match of India, youngster Sai Sudharsan is making his debut in ODI format for India.

They are not in the ODI and T20 squad against South Africa. In their absence, youngsters are getting chances. KL Rahul is leading the team in ODI format. Before starting the match, KL Rahul confirmed the news of Sai Sudharsan’s debut. 

During the toss, skipper KL Rahul said, “Special day, watched a lot of cricket on TV – the Pink ODI is a big occasion here in South Africa. Looking forward to a cracker of a game. There was a of spin and it was try, we’ll try to put pressure on them. Sai Sudharsan is on debut today.”

Young Tamil Nadu player Sai Sudharsan is making a debut for India in the first ODI against South Africa. In the 2023 season, Sai Sudharsan had an amazing season for Gujarat Titans. He ended the season with 362 runs and 8 matches. He scored 3 fifties in the season and batted with a strike rate of 141.4. In the IPl final, he played a heroic knock of 96 runs against Chennai Super Kings. Even in domestic cricket, he set a great example there. He performed consistently in his career.

India and South Africa are facing each other at the Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg. After winning the toss, South African skipper Aiden Markram decided to bat first. Since the start, they have been struggling in front of the Indian bowlers. Arshdeep Singh is on fire. He picked up 4 wickets in 19 runs. Avesh Khan got 2 wickets in just 7 runs. In the 11th over, South Africa is 52/6
