Shami entered the 16th season with 99 wickets from 93 games. On the third ball of the third over, Shami sent Devon Conway’s stumps flying to complete his 100th wicket at the Indian Premier League. With this, Shami has entered an elite club with only a handful of bowlers achieving this feat. Shami removed Conway to complete his 100th wicket at the IPL whereas Rashid got Moeen Ali out caught behind in the final over of the powerplay. Ruturaj Gaikwad looked strong with his strokeplay.
