At the same time, the Indian Cricket Control Committee (BCCI) requested a special shareholders meeting (SGM) to be held on May 29 to discuss the organization of the T20 World Cup under the terrible COVID-19 situation in India. The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders will be held in a virtual way and will mainly focus on the T20 World Cup in India. ICC will also meet on June 1 to discuss the same issues.
Quoting the information that a source told ANI: “ICC will hold a meeting on June 1. Before that, we will hold a meeting on May 29 to discuss the COVID-19 situation and what measures need to be taken. The focus will be in October Until November the T20 World Cup in India.”
Earlier, BCCI selected 9 venues for the T20 World Cup-Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Dharamsala and Lucknow.
