In the second innings, India didn’t play an impressive knock. Rohit Sharma scored 30 runs in 81 balls. Rishabh Pant scored 41 runs in 88 balls. They got all out on 170 runs. In the second innings, New Zealand scored 140/2 and won the tournament by 8 wickets.
India and New Zealand played their last series on Indian soil in 2021. Both the teams played well but India won the series by 1-0. In the last match, India bagged a huge win. In the second match, India was batting first. Opener Mayank Agarwal played a knock of 150 runs in 311 balls. Axar Patel scored an amazing half-century. They got all out on 325 runs. New Zealand got all out on 62 runs in their first innings.
In the second innings, India played well. Mayank Agarwal scored another half-century. He played a knock of 62 runs in 108 balls. Cheteswar Pujara missed a well-deserved half-century. Shubman Gill scored 47 runs in 75 balls. They declared the innings on 276 runs. Even in the second innings, New Zealand struggled. They got all out on 167 runs. India won the match by 372 runs.
