Massive changes in the rules ahead of the new IPL season

The IPL 2023 will begin on March 31 and run until May 28. This year’s teams all appear to be powerful and well-balanced. IPL 2023 will feature 10 teams competing for the ultimate title in 70 matches overall. Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah are two of the Indian superstars who aren’t competing in this competition. For the first time in the history of the competition, Joe Root will take the field in the Indian Premier League.

The young people to watch out for in this tournament will be the young, bright possibilities like Harry Brook, Sam Curranand Cameron Green, who sold for millions in the auction. Young Indian athletes like Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Sarfaraz Khan, and Yash Dhull will try to win over the crowd during the competition.

IPL 2023 captains will arrive at the toss with two distinct team rosters, and they will turn in their final XIs following the toss. This is one of the important changes to the IPL’s playing rules that will shortly be communicated to the teams. The adjustment would allow teams to select their best XIs based on whether they end up batting or bowling, with the appropriate impact player included, the IPL stated in an internal statement describing the number modifications to playing conditions.

“Currently the captains have to exchange the teams before the toss,” the note, seen by ESPNcricinfo, said. “This has been changed to exchange of teams immediately post the toss, to enable teams to choose the best XI depending on whether they are batting or bowling first. It will also assist the teams to plan for the impact player.”
