They purchased Umesh Yadav with a big amount of 5.80 crore. He is an experienced pacer and can be dangerous with the new ball. GT made another great purchase in the auction. 

In the last season, Umesh Yadav had a disappointing season. He played eight matches and didn’t make any impactful changes. After that, KKR released him in this season. In the IPL 2024 auction, Gujarat Titans purchased him. But Gujarat already has two pacers. Mohammad Shami is an asset for them. He had a great World Cup season. They also have Mohit Sharma in the squad.
