In a significant development, former India cricket captain MS Dhoni has been extended a formal invitation to attend the “Pran Pratishtha ceremony” of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Cricket Icons Join the Historic Event
MS Dhoni becomes the latest cricketer to join the list of invitees for the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony, following in the footsteps of cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli. Sachin Tendulkar received his invitation on January 13 at his residence in Mumbai. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been actively sending invitations to over 6000 individuals across the country for the momentous event.
While Ayodhya prepares for the landmark ceremony on January 22, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged ‘Ram Devotees’ not to flock to the city on the consecration day. PM Modi suggested that devotees visit the Mandir at their convenience once the formal program concludes. The ceremony is expected to be attended by numerous celebrities from various fields, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will be present.
