On the back of his performance, the Capitals also made their way through to the Qualifier 2 where they lost the Eoin Morgan-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Khan’s hard work paid off as the IPL performances brought him in contention for a place in the Indian team. The 25-year-old made his debut against the West Indies back on February 20 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Although India won the game , Khan didn’t have a great outing.
