Afghanistan batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz scores his maiden fifty in the IPL


Rahmanullah Gurbaz of the Kolkata Knight Riders is holding up well after reaching his first IPL half-century in 38 balls. Gurbaz has hit six boundaries and three sixes so far. On the other end, Rinku Singh has joined him. Gurbaz soon got out after completing his fifty with Karn Sharma taking two wickets on consecutive deliveries to push Kolkata back to 94-5 at the end of 14 overs.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz is a young and talented cricketer from Afghanistan. He was born on 6th November 2001 in Nangarhar, Afghanistan. Gurbaz is a wicket-keeper batsman who has already made a name for himself in international cricket.

Gurbaz made his debut for the Afghanistan cricket team in September 2019, in a T20 International against Bangladesh. He immediately made an impact, scoring 29 runs off just 15 balls in his first innings. He followed it up with a brilliant 61s off in 47 balls The next match, which Afghanistan won by 25 runs.

Gurbaz is known for his aggressive batting style and his ability to hit big sixes. He is also a very good wicketkeeper and has taken some excellent catches and made some important stumpings for his team.
