Historic series against Afghanistan

In a historic move, Afghanistan is all set to engage in its first-ever white-ball bilateral series against India. The home T20I series against Afghanistan, from January 11 to 17, will mark a momentous occasion for both teams, fostering the spirit of cricketing camaraderie and competition. 

However, fans may notice a few familiar faces missing from the Afghanistan T20Is. India’s Test players are likely to take a well-deserved break to recuperate ahead of the enthralling Test series against England. The much-anticipated England tour of India, beginning on January 25, will see five gripping Test matches scheduled until March 11. With eight-day gaps between crucial Tests, the series promises to be a riveting battle of skills, determination, and team spirit.
