113M Viewers in Week 1, 32% More Time Spent in Urban India

As the second season commenced a week prior, it peaked viewership at 113 million. That is a huge record for the T20 league.

Notable cricket stars such as David Warner, Dasun Shanaka, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Sam Billings, David Willey, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Alex Hales, Tom Curran, Rovman Powell, Shimron Hetmyer, James Vince, Ambati Rayudu, Corey Anderson, Dwayne Bravo, Trent Boult, Chris Woakes, and Martin Guptill are set to showcase their skills in this exciting tournament.

ILT20 remains the second most-watched global T20 league, drawing immense success. ZEE Entertainment, the official global broadcast partner, ensures extensive coverage of the tournament. There’s been a 12% rise compared to last year among urban male audiences aged 15 and above in India. Notably, viewers aged 15 and above in urban areas across India are spending 32% more time watching the series. This significant increase in viewing time highlights the league’s knack for keeping its audience engaged, making the viewing experience richer and more rewarding for fans.
