Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo said they will let Rose Taylor say goodbye to cricket “as miserably as possible” when they face New Zealand in a two-match test series starting from Mount Maunganui on Saturday.
Former captain Taylor will conduct his final test in the home game against Bangladesh in the series, and then end his career in international restricted games against Australia and the Netherlands in the summer at home.

Domingo told reporters on Friday: “We know he is a good player, and many bowlers will be happy to stop pitching at him.”
“We want to work hard to make sure that he is not sent off well-we want to make sure that his farewell is as miserable as possible.”
Taylor is New Zealand’s highest scoring player in Tests (7,584) and One-Day International (8,581). Domingo expects the 37-year-old player to hope to get out of the flames of glory.
“We know that we have to bowl well in the next few weeks to get him out, because he will be determined to finish the game well,” the coach said.
“Every good player wants his career to end at a high position and leave voluntarily, so I believe he will get some high scores in the next few weeks.”

The world test champion New Zealand has no regular captain Kane Williamson. His elbow has been injured continuously. Tom Latham has been appointed as the head.
It will welcome the return of fast bowlers Trent Bolt and Neil Wagner, but Latham said they have not yet decided whether to play Lachin Lavenderland or Daryl Mitchell.
Latham said: “We will make a decision on the position of the all-around player tomorrow.”
“We will have five batters and four sealers that have done a good job for us for a long time under these conditions. I look forward to them returning to these conditions.”
