Pakistan’s Cricket Committee (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja said that Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam, interim head coach Sakran Mushtaq and goalkeeper batsman Mohamed Rizwan Both recommend hiring foreign coaches for the national team.
“In my discussions with Babar, Rizwan, and later Sackland, they all stated that it is best to include foreign coaches in the national team’s locker room,” Ramiz said.
Ramitz hired Matthew Hayden and Vernon Ferrand to serve as batting and bowling consultants for the T20 World Cup in Pakistan, respectively.
“Regular coaching is also needed”
Ramitz said that the point he conveyed to the trio is that more local coaches should participate in the road trip with the team so that they have the opportunity to exercise themselves, gain experience and exposure.

He also revealed that he deliberately did not appoint a complete support staff of the technical coach for the recent trip to Bangladesh and the home series against the West Indies because he wanted to see the team stand up with his own ideas.
“I believe that a player must work hard in difficult circumstances without any support in order to achieve great results in the team,” Ramitz said.
PCB has already advertised the positions of five coaches, including a powerful batting coach and a high-performance center head coach, which was vacant after the resignation of Grant Bradburn of New Zealand.
