Professionals in the veterinary field typically decide to pursue a career in animal health before the age of 13, according to Vet Set Go. Together, the VCA and Vet Set Go will encourage these future veterinarians by improving their access to programs and education.
Vet Set Go has been helping aspiring veterinary professionals in elementary, middle and high school for over a decade. VCA is one of the largest providers of veterinary services in the world, and these organisations will create new and expanded opportunities for hands-on experience, shadowing and educational resources to help students overcome barriers often faced when pursuing a career in veterinary medicine.
