Canmore, Alberta, August 1, 2021 (Global News Service)-The boiling water order issued by the Alberta Health Service on July 29 has been cancelled for another area in Canmore: Silvertip Community. On July 31, Dead Man’s Flats, Harvie Heights, Canmore Nordic Centre, Three Sisters Resort, Peaks of Grassi, parts of Rundleview, and parts of Homesteads (link to detailed map below) were also cleared to provide regular water supply.
Effective immediately, residents, tourists and businesses in the area green The area of the map no longer needs to boil water before consumption. Residents and businesses in other areas of Canmore Township (Red Region, on the map) still need to boil water before consumption until further notice.
EPCOR is working as quickly as possible to ensure the safety of the water supply. Flushing and testing of the water system continue to occur as the staff are working hard to recover…
