Dubai, UAE, June 5, 2021 /PRNewswire/ – World Customs Organization 5day The global AEO conference ended after three days of busy discussions around the AEO plan. The conference was hosted virtually by Dubai Customs and the Federal Customs Service of the UAE.
The event was titled “AEO 2.0: Towards a New Vision of Sustainable and Safe Trade” and brought together many trade experts to discuss supply chain security issues.
Since its establishment in 2012, AEO has become the gold standard for customs administration and private sector cooperation to promote trade. Special emphasis is placed on the common choice of operators in the new economy and the integration of new technologies. Many experts assert that due to the pandemic and its impact on the world, it is important to expand the AEO program to include operators of the new economy that have not been considered so far.
