How did you start?

A few weeks before Scott was admitted to law school, a friend introduced him to the stock market. Although he plans to become a lawyer, he said that market problems are bothering him. He spends as much time studying the market in law school as his own courses. He has never worked in law, but he noticed that law school taught him how to think. Today, he wants people to master the skills to take trading to a new level and understand how to win in today’s complex market environment.

Swing trading, short-to-medium-term trends

Roger Scott explained swing trading as an activity that takes advantage of short-term stock price fluctuations that last from three days to three weeks. Every tradable asset is affected by two trends: long-term and short-term. “In swing trading, we are doing short-term trends, and position traders or investors take advantage of long-term trends,” he said.

Market volatility and momentum

“The problem with day trading is that your profits don’t have enough time to develop because you only give yourself six and a half hours in trading. So your accuracy must be astronomical,” Scott pointed out. “So, in my personal experience, day trading is not the best way to use time. I find that positions that last from a few days to a few weeks are often suitable for options, and they perform well in this type of time frame. .”

Stock options and ETF

Scott said that stock options are becoming more and more popular because ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) have almost replaced common commodities and futures. They bridge the gap between commodities and stocks. Even everyday traders are now trading stock options; they are incorporating these ETF options into currencies, commodities, cryptocurrencies, etc.

He pointed out that stock options are now more widespread and powerful, not only because of their liquidity and what people can do with them, but also because of the assets that can be traded with them, for example, to buy mutual funds and trade like stocks. Therefore, he said that ETFs are replacing common commodities and futures.

Scott believes that WealthPress.com is one of the fastest-growing financial publishers in history because it provides people with accurate, usable, and actionable information that people can use in daily transactions.
