Q CELLS world-class solar modules and home energy storage systems combined with eStat’s energy optimization and management solutions will provide stable and resilient energy.
Q cell Officially announced plans to expand its influence in the residential energy market in Hawaii through cooperation with the following institutions Electronic Statistics Corporation.
eStat Inc. focuses on providing flexible and affordable clean energy solutions for the residential energy sector. eStat’s innovative cloud-based energy optimization and management technology enables homeowners to build sustainable zero-carbon smart homes, thereby achieving savings equivalent to NEM in Hawaii. As utility companies phase out the NEM program, eStat’s technology will enable homeowners to obtain savings equivalent to those obtained through the NEM program. The technology also enables households to become resilient island nano-grids through storage batteries, which can provide backup power when the grid is interrupted in service.
eStat recently partnered with Poncho’s Solar on Oahu, Hawaii (it has been established for 34 years), and plans to develop with more local partners and communities in the future to provide a stable supply of solar energy and storage systems for the Hawaiian market.
Q CELLS cooperates with eStat to provide its world-class solar modules and Q.HOME+ ESS HYB-G1 (“Q.HOME”) integrated household energy storage system for homeowners in Hawaii to use clean solar energy. After nearly a year of complete Q.HOME product functions, Q.HOME will fully integrate with eStat’s cloud-based monitoring and management system, using machine learning to make household consumption make full use of on-site production and storage. The partnership will emphasize eStat as Q CELLS’s main O&M partner in the Hawaiian market.
Shane Kim, President of Q CELLS North America, said: “We are very pleased to work with eStat Inc., we have worked closely in the past year to enhance our Q.HOME products and integrate eStat’s home energy monitoring and management solutions. Hawaii is A very important market for renewable energy, Q CELLS is pleased to play a leading role in helping the state achieve a sustainable energy future.”
John Borland, Director of eStat Hawaii, said: “We are delighted to cooperate with the world-renowned renewable energy company Q CELLS to contribute to the goal of 100% renewable energy for all residential electricity in Hawaii. Hawaii is the best in the world. One of the locations. The deployment and maximum utilization of solar energy, including solar photovoltaic + battery storage and solar hot water storage throughout the year. We have just completed a 4-month field test of Q.HOME products on Oahu and verified that it achieves the following Target capabilities: 1) Zero-carbon smart home, 2) Resilient island nano-grid (on-grid and off-grid operation) and 3) NEM equivalent savings.”
