  • The drilling rig and related equipment are installed at the Oza-1 well site. The rig has been tested and inspected, and the existing tubing is currently being pulled out of the well.
  • The cement-bonded logging will then be completed to confirm the integrity of the cement behind the casing, and then the 5 ½-inch casing inside the 9 ⅝-inch casing will be pulled out, the cased well reservoir logging records will be run, and the well will be cleaned.
  • The perforation operation will then begin, and the test string will run with the straddle packer to test the three independent areas being tested.
  • It is expected that the initial oil production test will begin later, and all the crude oil test volume produced will be immediately exported and sold to the Bonnie export terminal through the existing production facilities and pipelines.

The reentry operation of the Oza-1 well site is underway, the functional tests and inspections of the drilling rig have been completed, all approvals have been obtained, and preliminary work activities are in progress to pull out the existing tubing. After removing the existing tubing from the wellbore, a cement-bonded log will be run to confirm the integrity of the cement behind the casing, then the 5 ½-inch casing inside the 9 ⅝-inch casing will be pulled and the cased well reservoir log will be run. After logging and analysis are completed, the oil well will be cleaned up, and perforation and production test operations will begin on three known oil-bearing areas (L2.2, L2.4, and L2.6).
