(NASDAQ:ONEW) (“OneWater” or “Company”) today announced that James Brewer, a marine industry veteran, will join the company as the managing director of Roscioli Yacht Center, effective July 12, 2021. In this role, Brewer will lead the strategy, planning and execution, and business development of the Roscioli Yacht Center within the OneWater Yacht Group.
“James is a legend in the South Florida yachting industry. We are very happy to have him join the OneWater family to continue Bob Roscioli’s legacy and improve our yacht sales and service capabilities,” commented Austin Singleton, CEO of OneWater Marine.
Mr. Brewer has more than 40 years of experience in the marine industry, including managing and developing profitable shipyards, as well as carrying out multi-million-dollar repair and modification projects and new construction projects for large yachts. He most recently served as the senior manager of Derecktor Shipyards, where he held various positions for more than 30 years, including operations, business development, and management. Mr. Brewer currently serves on the board of directors of the South Florida Marine Industry Association.
In addition to providing comprehensive services and modifications for yachts and mega yachts up to 150 feet long, the Roscioli Yacht Center also supports the sale of new Absolute, Belize, Riviera and Sunseeker yachts as a division of the OneWater Yacht Group. OneWater Yacht Group is the exclusive distributor of Sunseeker Yachts in the United States.
