Tokyo, July 29, 2021-(JCN Newswire)-Mazda Motor Corporation’s production and sales results from June and January to June 2021 are summarized below.

1. Production

1. Domestic production

(1) June 2021
Due to the increase in passenger vehicle production, Mazda’s domestic production in June 2021 increased by 111.7% year-on-year.

CX-5: 35,522 units (a year-on-year increase of 111.4%)
MAZDA3: 10,902 vehicles (increased by 220.9%)
CX-30: 6,541 vehicles (up 306.8%)

(2) January to June 2021
Due to the increase in passenger vehicle production, Mazda’s total domestic production from January 2021 to June 2021 increased by 43.3% year-on-year.

MAZDA3: 59,483 vehicles (an increase of 39.7%)
CX-30: 38,923 vehicles (increased by 20.0%)

2. Overseas production

(1) June 2021
Mazda’s overseas production in June 2021 fell by 28.8% year-on-year, reflecting the decline in passenger car and commercial vehicle production.
