Maine non-profit organization raised more than $27,000 to build affordable housing in Greater Portland – QNT Press Release


Portland, Maine, December 19, 2021 /PRNewswire/ –: 3i Housing Maine (“3i Home”) proudly reported that it proposed 27,000 USD This year’s “Giving Tuesday” event will help fund the development of at least 40 affordable, universally designed apartments on a larger scale Portland area. 3iHoME attributes the success of the event to the overwhelming support of the non-profit organization’s broad community, including its all-volunteer team, local barrier-free and inclusive housing advocates, and wider Maine Community.

This year’s Giving Tuesday event marks another progress made by 3i Home in 2021, including Boston-Preservable Housing (POAH), a non-profit developer. POAH owns and manages more than 12,000 apartments in 11 states and across the state District of Columbia Including nearly 5000 units in New England. This year, the organization will celebrate its 20th anniversary and become a respected developer of affordable housing across the country, which will take the project from concept to financing, construction and management.
