JBS USA and Pilgrim’s expect global operations to be close to full capacity

Greeley, Colorado, June 2, 2021 (Global News Service)-Today, JBS USA and Pilgrim’s announced that they will resume production at all their factories on Thursday as planned. The company continues to recover quickly from cyber attacks today, providing further assurance to more than 100,000 team members of JBS USA and Pilgrim, partners of livestock and poultry producers, customers and consumers.

“JBS USA and Pilgrim’s continue to make significant progress in restoring our IT systems and returning to normal business,” said Andre Nogueira, CEO of JBS USA. “Today, most of our facilities resume operations as we predicted yesterday, including all our pork, poultry and prepared food facilities around the world and most of our beef facilities in the United States and Australia.”

The company is currently not aware of any evidence that any customer, supplier or employee data has been leaked.

“Given the progress our team has made in resolving this situation, we expect that tomorrow our global business will be close to full capacity,” Nogueira added.
