iSIGN Media was selected as the exclusive technology platform for the installation of proof-of-concept contact tracking in airport and municipal management public spaces

Toronto, June 6, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – iSIGN Media Solutions Inc. (“iSIGN” or “Company”) (TSXV:ISD) (Over-the-counter transactions:ISDSF), a leading provider of interactive mobile proximity marketing and public safety alert solutions announced that the company has been selected as the exclusive technology platform by SIMBL Business Enablement Inc., which is an ongoing proof-of-concept (“POC”) contract between the two parties. SIMBL Business Enablement Inc. and Innovative Solutions Canada (“ISC”) are currently deploying paid POC at Prince George Airport in British Columbia.

This POC program is called Passive Historical Aggregated Contact Tracking (“PHACT”) and has been approved and reviewed by ISC. PHACT was designed from the beginning to solve the shortcomings of traditional application-based systems. The platform utilizes iSIGN’s proprietary technology to overcome inherent issues surrounding privacy, data usage, power consumption, and the public’s lack of desire to download applications. The result is a system that uses iSIGN technology for mobile messaging, uses the Bluetooth capabilities of mobile devices to collect completely anonymous data, provides public health authorities with valuable contact tracing information and the ability to issue public alerts and advisory statements.

The POC deployment aims to demonstrate the accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness and efficiency of the PHACT plan. The test will begin on July 1, 2021 at selected airports. The POC will take place from July 1 to September 30, 2021.

The PHACT program is the basis for a series of products related to public health, and ISC is currently evaluating three additional solutions provided within the platform. The successful POC program will be promoted in all airports in Canada, and may be used in municipal properties and military bases.

Given that it is currently a POC deployment, the potential revenue of this program is currently unknown. Once POC is deployed to all major airports in Canada, this low-maintenance automated network solution may generate considerable revenue as a long-term contract. More information about this plan will be provided later when deemed appropriate.
