Harmon, Sr., IOM, Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of the African American Chamber of Commerce New Jersey (AACCNJ); Valerie MontecalvoChief Executive Officer and President of Bayshore Recycling; and Steve Ruskowski, Chairman, CEO and President of Quest Diagnostics.Nominated by peers, these New Jersey Business leaders joined the prestigious legacy panel of winners, who are known for demonstrating business excellence and consistent community involvement throughout their careers.

For the past 17 years, JANJ has been commending outstanding role models from the business world.The New Jersey Business Hall of Fame recognizes individuals for their innovative leadership and high standards as role models New Jersey Youth, and their influence in actively shaping their businesses and communities. The main annual event raises funds to support unsponsored high school hero learning experiences across the state to enhance the ability of today’s leaders as tomorrow’s winners. Through the Hero Project, high school students have acquired valuable employment skills such as leadership, public speaking, and critical thinking, which are all necessary for success in the global economy. The leadership program also introduces elementary school students to role models that are closer to their age, and provides high school students with meaningful community involvement and cross-cultural learning.
