Infinity Turbine GTL module is a $150,000 experimental platform. Infinity Turbine now provides an experimental platform for those who wish to convert liquid or gaseous carbon dioxide into plastic and alcohol fuel. Input: CO2, H2O, direct current and Nafion or other membrane catalysts. The GTL gas-liquid system is part of the SeaMerlin engine system. Use the GTL system for in-situ carbon removal and storage: Using reverse fuel cells (electrolyzers), CO2 can be immediately used to make intermediates such as methanol or ethylene. Ethylene can be used to make plastics as a way to remove and store carbon. (Illustration: Business Wire)
SeaMerlin is a project of Infinity Turbine LLC. The project combines decades of innovation into a product that not only focuses on carbon dioxide removal, but also integrates the first principle development of a series of technologies into one concept, namely gas Lever turbine.
The SeaMerlin engine is a water-based gas lever turbine used for ship propulsion, seawater distillation, seawater carbon dioxide collection, and on-demand carbon dioxide fuel processing. The core technology is hydrodynamic cavitation, which can be used to collect carbon dioxide and process it.
Infinity believes that the best intermediate step to reduce CO2 is to establish a process and market for CO2 to fuel and plastics. This is done through their GTL (gas to liquid) on-demand processor system.
Infinity Turbine LLC provides a visionary future for clean and renewable fuels by providing complementary technologies that can work together to increase efficiency.
