The HSBC API Developer Portal provides a secure way to integrate with the HSBC solution suite
HSBC introduced an application programming interface (API) Developer portal, To provide customers with direct access to a set of tools, they can integrate the bank’s API solutions into their own products, and take advantage of a secure testing environment.
The portal enables customers and developers to easily find APIs that suit their business needs, access technical documentation, and try out APIs in a test environment, enabling rapid integration into their own products.
Initially, the portal will provide access to the Treasury Payment and Account Information API, as well as multiple APIs for transaction processing, custody, bank guarantee status, and global payments. The portal also allows third-party providers in 15 markets that have implemented open banking supervision to access payment and account information APIs for retail, commercial, and corporate banking.
In the coming months, HSBC will regularly enhance the portal with more API solutions, and will continue to enhance the customer and developer experience. Ultimately, the portal will contain all regulatory and non-regulatory APIs of the bank.
