To avoid embarrassment and expensive plumbing, it is important to know whether the wipes can be rinsed. Look for the “do not rinse” symbol on the package to see if it is there, of course, if in doubt, throw it away.
By analyzing the contents of a large number of sewer blockages called “fat guys”, it was found that most items that clog the system include tissues, baby wipes, garbage, feminine hygiene products and other non-washable items.
